Mark, Stephanie & Annabella Faith (Bella), Annapolis, MD 

We're huge football fans. God is involved and there's a lot of praying. I said (to my mom) I met someone who's black, and you're just gonna have to deal with it. And I'm learning...I just learned that "mulatto" is a bad word. I'm from a redneck town right outside of Pittsburgh. My mom had said (growing up) you can be friends with "them" but you can't date "them" because god forbid you have a child. I never understood why people were different. I don't care who you are.

Mark's chain and Stephanie's tattoo are signs of their friendship, love, loyalty and faith. Stephanie has a clotting disorder so they consider the fact that Bella was born perfectly, a miracle.
